Learn all the different exits and extractions on the Streets of Tarkov map in Escape from Tarkov. This guide explains the requirements for special extractions if you’re not sure why one isn’t working. It’s worth mentioning that this map guide is a work in progress, but I’ve included some tips and tricks to get you started.

Learning Streets of Tarkov can be tricky like any map at first if you’re not sure what to look for. This is because there are a bunch of similar-looking buildings surrounding you. However, you can take advantage of the map above to learn where major buildings are. This makes it much easier once you can notice each name and logo on them.
With that said, there are still significant landmarks like the church far to the south that you can see from main street. If you’re completely lost, this gives you some direction until you have a compass. Also, another trick I like to use for learning new maps is seeing what extracts I have available. Comparing them against the map usually shows that you’re on the opposite side of the map as your extractions.

Dangerous Areas on Streets of Tarkov in Escape from Tarkov
As the two maps above show, you need to watch out if you’re running along the center of the map via main street. While you have to worry about buildings with windows facing out in general, I’m especially wary running along the street.
I’ve also noticed the area around the Basem*nt Descent extract can be a little dicey. This area has a decent amount of bushes that SCAVs can shoot through without you even noticing them. There’s nothing worse than dying in Escape from Tarkov and not knowing why. That aside, be especially careful of the marked snipers spread throughout the map. Especially the ones near the Klimov Street and Primorsky Ave Taxi V-Ex extracts.
Raid Boss Locations on the Streets of Tarkov Map
The main boss for Streets of Tarkov is Kaban despite rumors of other bosses when the map was first released. Whether you’re looking to find or avoid Kaban, you can typically find him near the LexOs car dealership. Just be careful of the six to nine different guards following him.
