I certainly haven't found anything better, though D.R. Harris Pink does come close.

Yes its one of my favorites. It's a pretty good value for the money as well, as it can be found relatively cheaply.

Yes I think it's the best also. It's too bad that when you buy it here in the States you are paying mostly for shipping charges.

Tried for the first time tonight and I really like it. Need to use it a few more times to see how it stands up to others I have.

I think it smells horrible, and so do the women in my life.

I'd think the latter would be more of a problem.... you could try giving them some new soaps, or at least making some gentle suggestions!

I have the balm. I love the way it performs but really don't like the smell. I have to be careful to use a small amount otherwise my wife and kids stay away from me.

I also love the way it performs especially after using the shaving cream but not over keen on the smell. Much prefer the Speick Men Active AS. I did try a sample of the new Speick cologne that I was sent from Speick UK but that was completely overpowering and I used it to keep the outside garbage bins scented.

I have the splash in my kit and used it this morning actually. It's comparable to many other aftershaves out there. I like the scent but in no way is it economical in the States. $15 for 100mL + shipping (which is out of control lately).
It works very well but mostly it's the great cinnamon mid-note that really attracts me to it. Spicy and woody fragrances work really well for me.

Does it smell like the cream?

The splash is very like the cream in fragrance, but with a more astringent quality. The cream has a more intense smell.

I like the Speick AS. About to finish a bottle. However, I wish it smelled more like the soap.
I'm not sure if I'm going to purchase it again. I love my RazoRock Baby Blue and Lucido too much.

How does speick compare to nivea? Wouldn't nivea be better for your skin since there is no alcohol?
and any vendor recs for the best price on this stuff?
My Ahava smelled amazing and worked great but i ran out and dont feel like over spending on AS. I smelled speick at Pasteurs and found the smell a bit strange, but not entirely offensive. TH 1805 smelled much nicer but I guess it doesn't perform as well as Speick/Nivea...right?

Amen. I wanted to give this a try, but at $25 shipping for a $10 bottle, I had to take a pass.

That's a high shipping charge.
$5.85 shipping to KY from West Coast Shaving (for example) on a $15 bottle. Well worth it in my book.

I use Speick when i want a healing AS, and one whose will fade quickly. I find it to have a medicinal scent.
I tried Nivea, and the smell to me was horrible, it reminded me of hospital disinfectant. Luckily I found a willing victim/co-worker who was willing to take it..
