After Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and superstar singer Taylor Swift made their relationship public in September 2023, the New Heights podcast got a surge of new listeners.
Many of them were fans of Swift, the global superstar, so Kelce and his brother, Jason, added a new segment to the show: No Dumb Questions.
That’s allowed the Kelces to explain the game of football to fans who might have started watching the NFL because of Swift.
For the most part, Travis Kelce has not talked about Swift on the podcast, other than a quick mention here or there. And there are times when New Heights guests have brought up Swift but most of the talk on the podcast is about sports.
So it was interesting to Swifties when the New Heights podcast asked fans to fill out a questionnaire and it included mentions of Swift.
For example: “I’m excited to hear details and easter eggs about Travis & Taylor’s relationship from the source” and “I like feeling like a part of the community that supports Taylor’s happiness outside of her music.”
Some of Swift’s fans shared their displeasure with the questionnaire on X. Here is a sample of what they were saying.
This is going to be so embarrassing. Why would they do this?

Kinda gross for Wondery to ask so many questions about Taylor and even ask about how likely someone is to continue to listen if Travis were to retire Then ask what we would want to listen to if the guys started a whole new podcast?

the questions about Taylor and their relationship is so weird and gross. what's the goal here? If so many people choose those Wondery will demand Travis to talk about Taylor and their private life? those questions should be removed

Obviously a lot of swifties listen to the pod and you’re just trying to collect info, but some of those questions were worded badly and maybe shouldn’t be on there at all.
